Talking to RMT’s (FFXI to RMT language)

Ever wish there was somehow a little guide allowing you to communicate to RMT’s ? Here’s a little guide just so you can mess around with them :) Some of them gets really excited too so anyway.. enjoy…

My manderain is actually my third language, I could make some mistakes so if there is and you pick them up, please reply to this thread below ;)

Rules:

To many any of the phrases below into a question, simply add the word “ma” follow by the question mark. Example!

Enemy = di ren
Enemy? = di ren ma?

Common FFXI Terms.
1 more minute = yi fen zhong
2 mobs = liang ge guai
30 minutes = ban xiao shi

Able to translate = neng fan yi
About to (leave/cry/sleep) = jiuyao (li kai/ku/ shui jiao)
Agree to sell = dacheng chu shou
Agreement achieved = dacheng xieyi
America = mei guo
American = mMei guo ren
Answer me = hui da wo
Apologize = dao qian
Are you all right? = ni hai hao ma?
Are you in a party? = ni you zu dui ma?
Are you party leader? = ni shi dui zhang ma?
Assist me = bang zhu wo

Bad Exp = jing yan bu hao
Bad person = huai ren (bad person and enemy is two different thing)
Bathroom = ce suo
a Beautiful girl = yi ge piaoliang de nu hai
Because = yin wei
Be right back = jiu hui lai
Beyond my ability = chao chu wo de nengli
Buff = jia fang
But = ke shi

Calm down = ping jing xia lai
Can = ke yi
Cannot = bu ke yi
Can I do anything for you? = wo neng wei ni zuo dinar shen me shi ma?
Can he/she come = ta neng lai ma?
Careful = Xiao xin
Certainly = Yi ding
Congratulations! = Gong xi!
Could you help me? = Ni ke yi bang wo ma?

Does your group need a [Job] = ni men yao [Job] ma?
Doesn’t matter = bu yao jin
Do not want = bu yao
Don’t hit/attack = bie da
Don’t be so rude = bu yao na yang wuli
Don’t attack = bie gong ji
Don’t have = mei you
Do you have [item]? = ni you [item] ma?
Do you need a heal? = ni yao jia xue ma?
Do you need buffs? = ni yao jia fang ma?
Do you need gil? ni yao [gil] ma?
Do you speak English = ni hui jiang ying wen ma?

Enemy = di ren
Equipment = Zhuang bei
Excuse me (in the context of, excuse me, but bla bla bla) = qing wen, bla bla bla

Flying mobs = fei guai
Fool = shagua (more like Idiot)
Forget it = ba xiu
Friend = peng you
Full party = wo men bu yao ta ren le

Girlfriend = nu peng you
Go go go!! = jia you
Good = hao
Goodbye = zai jian (or 881, the word “8” in Chinese is pronounced similar to “Bye”, so 8 = Bye)
Good morning = zao shang hao
Good evening = wan shang hao
Good night! = wan an
Good looking = hao kan
Great! = tai hao le
Guild (LS) member = meng yuan

Headache = touteng
Heal [taru] please! = qing jiu [taru]
He/she is honest = ta ren lao shi
He/she is nice = ta ren hao
He/she has a big mouth = ta da zui ba
Hello = ni hao
Help! = jiu! (99999 works too, because the word “9” is pronounced similar to “jiu”, which is equal to “help”)
He’s annoying = ta hao fan
Hi everyone = ni men hao
High level monster = gao ji de guai
How much [money]? = duo shao [money]?
How much money do you need = ni yao duo shao qian

I am a girl = wo shi nu de
I am a guy = wo shi nan de
I am American = wo shi mei go ren
I am called [taru] = wo jiao [taru] (its similar to “My name is [taru]”)
I am the group leader = wo shi dui zhang
I am lost = wo mi lu de
I am soloing = wo shi yi ge sha zi
I am sorry = zhen bao qian
I am very happy to meet you = hen gao xing ren shi ni
I am very bored = wo hen men
I can buff = wo ke yi jia fang
I can cast [spell] = wo ke yi [spell]

I can heal = wo ke yi jia xue
I don’t agree with you = wo bu tong yi ni de yi jian
I don’t know = wo bu zhi dao
I don’t understand = wo bu dong OR wo bu ming bai (both the same)
I do not understand English = wo bu dung yin yu
It will bring us good luck = ta jiang gei wo men dai lai hao yun qi
I have bad luck! = Wo mei you wen qi
I have no money = wo mei you qian
I know = wo zhi dao
I love you = wo ai ni
I’ll help you level = wo qu dai ni sheng ji
I’ll let you have the money soon – wo hui ren kuai rang na dao qian
I’m out of MP = mei wang de (no more yellow, red = hp, yellow = mp)
I need [item] = wo xu yao [item]
I need a break = wo yao xiu xi yi xia

Its none of your business = ni shao guan xian shi
I will be back in five (5) minutes = wo guo wu fen zhong hui lai

Its not = bu shi
Its not that too! = bing bu shi
I want [this] not [that] = wo yao [this], bu yao [that]
I understand = wo liao jie

Leave me alone = bie guan wo!
Lets party up? = zu dui ma?
Lets drop it (like stop talking about this problem) = wo men bie zai tan zhe ge wen ti le.

Little = xiao
Look! = kan kan

Monster = guai
N00b = xin shuo (means new hand in Chinese, just mean you’re a beginner, so not as rude)
Nevermind = bu yao jin
No = bu
No problem! = bu yong
Not up too much (or “not much”) = bu zen me yang (usually used to respond to greeting like “whats up”)
Now = xien zai

Of course! = dang ren
Ouch! = ai you!
Out of the question (or “no way”) = bu xing

Person = ren
Please = qing
Please don’t bother me = qing bu yao fan wo
Please do not steal my mobs = qing bu yao qiang wo de guai
Please don’t touch it = qing wu dong shou

Quick heal please! = qing jinji jia xue

Raise = fu huo
Really?! = zhen de?!
Reraise Scroll = fu huo juan
Right now = xian zai
Shuold I heal [taru]? = bang [taru] jia xue ma?

Very well, and you? = hen hao, nin ne? (usually used to respond to “hello”)
Victory = sheng li

Warp = hui cheng juan
We have plenty [job] = wo men you hen duo [job]
We are here to have fun = wo men shi lai wan de
We have to wait until he/she returns, then we can go = wo men dei deng ta hui lai yi hou, cai neng zou
We need a healer = wo men xu yao fa shi jia xue
Weapons = wo qi
What = shen me?
What a pity = zhen ke lian!
What is = shen me shi
What’s up? = wan shang hao?
Where = zai nar
White Mage = Bai fa shi
Who = he ren
Why = wei shem me
Why not? = wei shen mo bu?
Will you help me level? = dai wo hao me?
Women = nuu
Wonderful = hao ji le
Would like to = xiang
Would you like to join my party? = ni yao bu yao zu dui? (or means would you like to make a group)
Wow! = wahh (the expression)

Yes = shi!
You = ni
You are welcome = ke qi shen mi (polite way)
You are welcome = bu ke qi (casual)
You go please = rang hao ma
You have to come = ni bi xu lai
You keep all treasure = ni na bao de dong xi
You slut, trash = la ji
You speak nonsense = hu shuo
You still there? = hai zai na li ma?
You there? = zai ma?

What about numbers?

Not all of them will use or understand it, its most commonly used in the gaming culture but… thought I’d let you know anyway.

5555 or QQ = crying
8888 = bye bye
9999 = help help
